How to Set Seat and Mirror Memory in a Porsche 997
I had a hell of a time finding the simple instructions to do this every time I wanted to make a change. There’s a few threads on Rennlist, but making and bookmarking my own article without the “forum-fluff” was honestly easier.
To set the seats and driving mirror position:
Use the key to which you want to save the seat position.
Engine off, ignition on (no reverse gear engaged).
Press memory key and additionally press personal key 1 (or 2, 3 - whichever key you’re using).
Done.
For the mirror lowering position when reversing, also do:
Apply handbrake.
Engage reverse gear.
Bring the passenger mirror into the desired position.
Press memory key and additionally press personal key 1 (or 2, 3 - whichever key you’re using).
